Live music is what we do.

We've crammed as much live music as we possibly can into April and May, spanning decades as well as genres! Get your gigging fix right here with us, as we have a mix of rock and roll, soul, jazz, indie and more in store over the coming weeks.

This weekend we're having the raucous riot Rhino and the Ranters over for a night of cow punk, gospel, roots and blues inspired music on April 20th, followed by authentic 1960s tribute The Quik Beats on April 21st.

If you're all about soul and jazz melodies, we've got you covered as Marina Coombes as Amy Winehouse is fronting our Lioness night, bringing Amy's iconic jazz/pop blend on April 28th. She'll be joined by vocal harmony trio The Miss Fortunes, known for their ability to turn pop songs into a vintage dream.

For the lovers of indie and a thirst for brand new music - Kaleidoscope is here! This monthly free event combines local music and art together in one night - all for free entry. This month, The Bank Accounts headline the night, joined by GorillaBot and The Nature Centre on May 3rd.

Next up in May is a man who knows no bounds, bringing funk and rock & roll together through his exhilarating piano playing. Once described as "possessed by Jerry Lee Lewis and the devil himself, Henri Herbert's pounding piano skills must be seen to be believed. He'll be performing as Henri Herbert and the Fury alongside Emily C Smith on May 4th. The electrifying, 80s inspiredMeMe Detroit will be back on May 5th by popular demand, celebrating the release of her new material with support from Institutes.

The Beatles and The Rolling Stones are both iconic 1960s artists, but which one do you pick? Luckily you don't have to, as at Battle of the Brits we have Beatles tribute Help! and Rolling Stones tribute Get Stoned rocking through the bank holiday on May 27th. Another soulful act joining us are The Midnight City Soul Band, bringing their big sound (complete with Hammond organ and tenor sax) and lifelong love of northern soul and Motown music to The Night Owl on May 26th.

An honourable mention goes to Hott Date - back after a 10 year break to party like never before. Once described as DJ speed dating, Hott Date is taking over three Lower Trinity St venues (Cafe Colette, Unit 4 and Digbeth Dining Club yard) to bring you live music from Table Scraps, High Horses, The Hungry Ghosts and more. DJs from Ministry of Sound, Chick Dig Jerks, House of Jealous Lovers, Killer Wave, Keep the Faith and many more will also be joining in on the fun, bringing Digbeth one of the biggest parties its ever seen on May 6th.

Keep up to date with live music, club nights and everything in between with our calendarand tickets for all events can be purchased from The Ticket Sellers!
