We’re lucky to share our home in Digbeth with many other fascinating and entertaining venues. Say hi to our neighbours next time you're down Digbeth way in the daytime, before dancing all night long with us in the evening!
Digbeth Dining Club & Café Colette
Digbeth Dining Club are well seasoned adventurers of Digbeth – having provided us with weekend street food delights for six years. They’ve now set up a full residence on Lower Trinity St, alongside their good friend Cafe Colette. Nestled in Digbeth’s side streets is a 1920s, art deco-style cocktail bar, oozing style and sophistication. Café Colette is the perfect after work aperitif – especially with Colette’s Sundown Club on a Thursday. Perfect for a pre-Night Owl drink, sip on a hand crafted cocktail and enjoy laid back music from guest DJs, whilst Digbeth Dining Club cooks you up a street food feast.
Spotlight & Mama Roux
Spotlight and Mama Roux are home to some of Digbeth’s emerging live music. New York basement style bar Spotlight is also home to Digbeth Dining Club on Fridays, creating a laid back vibe in an industrial atmosphere. Their next-door neighbour Mama Roux is also has US influences – as this music venue is like stepping straight onto the streets of New Orleans. Specialising in emerging indie bands for a weekday party, Mama Roux definitely hosts an eclectic mix for all music tastes.
The Old Crown
Nearby to Lower Trinity Street lives Birmingham’s oldest pub. The Old Crown has been standing proud since 1368 – serving hot food and cold pints to thousands of punters, as well as putting on seasonal events such as Oktoberfest and St Patrick’s Day. Grab a slice of history and culture all in one on Digbeth’s High Street, and make sure to try one of their famous Sunday roasts!
Ghetto Golf
A newcomer to Digbeth, but one that has already made a name for itself. If you haven’t heard of this whacky crazy golf course yet, where have you been? With some holes modelled on Birmingham icons such as The Old Crown and the Birmingham bus, as well as a retro video store hole, a toilet hole and a Sonic the Hedgehog inspired hole– Ghetto Golf has certainly changed the game. Also serving BBQ street food and rap inspired cocktails to hundreds of crazy golfers, why not join them for a mid week session?
The Kanteen
Our friends at Kanteen are holding down the fort during the day – serving healthy breakfast brunch and lunch options as well as delicious coffee in a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Their hot boxes are a hit with Digbeth regulars - offering a meat or vegan option of healthy world foods, all sourced as locally as possible. Kanteen is perfect for meetings or events as the space is available to hire, or just pop in for a catch up and a coffee with friends!
Coming soon to Lower Trinity Street is Hott Date - once described as 'DJ Speed Dating' by Grazia Magazine, it's is the perfect place to catch the best in live bands and DJs all in one place! On May 6 Hott Date will be taking over Cafe Colette, Unit 4 and Digbeth Dining Club with an after party at The Night Owl for one huge party! Expect to see live music from Table Scraps, High Horses, The Hungry Ghosts, Miles Cocker, Brain Food and Cave girl, alongside DJ sets from House of Jealous Lovers, Bad Girls, Le Freak, Young Culture, Colette’s Sundown Club resident DJs, Chicks Dig Jerks, Kaleidoscope and many more!
