Everyone has been obsessed with Netflix’s Stranger Things the creepy horror story set in 1983 Indiana. When we announced our plans for a Stranger Things Halloween party earlier this year we had no idea how much it would catch people’s imaginations.

As a result the first party sold out very quickly and now a second date has been added due to popular demand.

The first sold out party is this Saturday 29th October and the second date is part of our ‘Ruby Tuesdays’ student night on Tuesday 1st November with cheap drinks offers available all night long.

Both parties encourage fancy dress offering prizes for best overall costumes and featured characters, ‘Best Barb’ on the Saturday and ‘Best Eleven’ at the Tuesday party.

The music will be influenced by the show itself so think 80s synths, Joy Division, The Clash etc. plus The Night Owl’s usual mix of an incredible mix of cool retro tunes such as soul, 60s r n b, mod, punk, northern soul, ska, rock and roll funky stuff, etc. Of course, you can expect some Stranger Things décor at the venue and perhaps a few surprises.
